Vegan Funfetti Donuts

I wish a donut a day would keep the doctor away…

Hello, Everyone!

Not only is today Friday, but today is NATIONAL DONUT DAY!! If you know me, you know that I love donuts–I talk about them, dream about them, & often crave them. So, on this national celebration of the existence of donuts I thought I would share a fun recipe.

Is it donut or doughnut??

I used a recipe I found on Pinterest and made some tweaks of my own. This is an amazing Pinterest find–I have tried other donut recipes, but this one stands out! HERE you can find the original recipe that I used!!

The tweaks I made:

  • I added about 1/4 cup of sprinkles and folded them into the batter at the end.
  • Instead of doing a chocolate glaze, I used coconut flakes (or you can dust powdered sugar over the top).

The fun part about this recipe is that you can change it up to create any kind of donut you want. As long as you have a good base recipe for the donut, you can add in fruit, sprinkles, chocolate chips, etc. to make it just right for you!
